My friend Harland Burkhart (Dimesland), Jason "Whitemare" Darrah, and Cole M. Greif-Neill (Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti) have come together to form The Samps. They sound like someone gave a cyborg teenager a casio, oven pizzas, peyote, John Carpenter videos, and internet goggles. Pretty much the soundtrack to your life. They just played a show in L.A. at the Bootleg Theater with Glasser (featuring members of Fever Ray) which we were too high to go to and have a self-titled debut EP due out 05/04/10 on Mexican Summer. I just saw Harley yesterday consuming breakfast foods for the one hour of daylight he needed to continue working on what's going to be a fucking sick EP. Buy it or live the rest of your life in near-suicidal regret.
